Prague castle
The
Prague Palace grew and gradually gained its present appearance from the time of its founding in the late 9th century.
Old Town square
The most
significant square of historical Prague. It originated in the 12th century and since then witnessed many events.
Bethlehem Chapel
Founded in 1391 for sermons in the Czech language. Master Jan Hus preached there between 1402 – 1412. In 1661 altered to a catholic church by Jesuits. In 1786 it was pulled down. In the years 1950 – 1952 a replica of the original chapel was erected on the site (architect J. Fragner).
Black Madonna House
Permanent exhibition Czech cubism (painting, sculpture, applied art, architecture) is located in the most prominent cubistic building of Prague built by the architect J. Gocár in the early 20th century.
Charles bridge
The
oldest Prague bridge built in the place of the Judita's Bridge that had been badly damaged by a flood in 1342. The Stone or Prague Bridge
since 1870 called Charles Bridge, was founded by Charles IV in the year 1357.
Municipal House
An Art
Nouveau building constructed in 1905 – 1911 (A. Balsanek, O. Polivka) on the spot of the former king´s court, a seat of the kings of Bohemia from
the end of the 14th century till 1438.
Old Jewish Cemetery
stablished in the mid-15th century it served as a burial site till 1787. Among 12 000 gothic, renaisance and baroque tombstones are also those of Rabbi
Jehuda Löw (1609) and Mordechai Maisel (1601).
St.Nicholas Church
One of the most valuable buildings of the „Prague Baroque“ period with a dominant dome and the belfry.
Veletržní palác
The permanent exhibition of 19th, 20th and 21st century art on three floors of Veletržní palác acquaints visitors with the development of Czech and foreign fine art during the course of the last two centuries.

National Muzeum
The largest and oldest Czech museum founded in 1818 is housed in a monumental neo-renaissance building from the years 1885 – 1890 that dominates the Wenceslas Square.
Vysehrad
Ancient legends situate the original seat of the Czech princes – the legendary Princess Libuse and the first Przemyslides – on the hill.
Carolinum
Since the 14th century this
extensive block of buildings houses Charles University – the oldest university in the Central Europe.
Wenceslas square
Prague´s fashionable shopping and entertainment boulevard, lined with majestic Art
Nouveau facades.
Golden Lane
Small houses built
in the gothic fortification, the 16th century homes of castle riflemen and craftsmen. In 1916 – 1917 Franz Kafka used to work in No. 22.
