Prague´s fashionable shopping and
entertainment boulevard, lined with majestic Art Nouveau facades. At the upper end of Václavské náměstí stands an equestrian
statue of the 10th century king Václav, who is the saint patron of Bohemia. During the 20th century this place has often been a scene of public protest, today
it is a famous and the most favorite meeting places of Prague residents (“at the Horse’s tail ”) and a great spot to start your itinerary around
the city.
